Dr. (Lt Gen) CS Narayanan obtained his DM (Neurology) degree from AIIMS in 1998, and subsequently gained a wealth of experience in Neurology over a period of two decades, serving in the leading Clinical Services, Teaching, and Research centers of the Armed Forces. the professional care of all specialists and super-specialists in the Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS). While serving at Army Hospital (R&R), he played a critical role in establishing various neurology sub-speciality programs, including acute stroke care services, epilepsy surgery, and advanced immuno-modulatory therapies for multiple sclerosis. He has significant experience in the administration of botulinum toxin for various Movement Disorders and was part of the team that performed the first deep brain stimulation procedure in the Armed Forces in 2000.
