About Us

" We all have a story to tell and we are all driven to make meaning of our lives. Much of our suffering—those times of depression, anxiety, and discontent—arises when the weight of the past and the pressures of the present become overwhelming and we lose our sense of being the author of our own story. I have found that when we are allowed to speak in a compassionate space, to be heard, and to welcome our true selves—even the parts of ourselves that we struggle with—we uncover strengths we didnt know we had. We discover possibilities for change and new relationships, and freedom from old and limiting beliefs. We regain our storyline. ", My orientation is psychodynamic and trauma-informed. My background includes a range of influences and mindfulness-based models including ACT, DBT, IFS, and Narrative Therapy. I have also spent time teaching creative writing at The Bard College Prison Initiative and Boston University, and bring a love of language, metaphor, and creative play to this work.
