Originally from Annapolis Valley, Dr. McClure graduated from Acadia University with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then achieved distinction as a Killam Laureate during her graduate studies at The University of British Columbia, where she completed two master’s degrees and a Ph.D. After a decade of training out west, Dr. McClure returned home to her family in Nova Scotia.
