I am a licensed psychologist specilizing in working with children and families. I am part of a small group practice where we have created a warm and comfortable environment so that children feel free to kick of their shoes and make themselves at home. I am always finding new ways to be creative and fun while adhering to cognitive behavior principals and utilizing evidence based treatments to work with both children and parents. Coming from an outpatient mental health setting I have experience with a wide range of difficulties including anxiety/depression, peer problems, mood disorders, ADHD and behavior problems. , I have devoted much of my work to treating children with anxiety and have conducted research on Selective Mutism. Additionally I am a certified PCIT (Parent Child Interaction Therapy) therapist which is a fabulous and highly effective therapy for families and their children struggling with ADHD and behavior problems. , The practice in which I work is the only private practice in NYC with a PCIT space including a playroom, viewing room and time-out room as recommended by the developers of PCIT. I also offer free parent support groups to families who have children suffering from Selective Mutism.
