I work collaboratively with my clients to help them through the various road blocks and difficulties that life presents. People often limit themselves based on old assumptions and expectations and it can be freeing to start to disentangle this. The emotional pain caused by these issues can be isolating and confusing and I believe that it is healing to have somebody with you to explore. \n\nUsing an integrative approach, I tailor my work to the individual and work creatively in addressing your needs. I hope to help you feel and express yourself deeply and in new ways to be able to move forward with a more nuanced sense of self. , In my years in private practice and previously as a counselor for NYU, I have worked with a diverse group of young adults in addressing issues related to emerging adulthood, relationships, depression and anxiety. I have completed psychodynamic training at NIP and work from a relational lens. I also integrate DBT and CBT informed approaches. , I am also trained in RIE, a philosophy that emphasizes respect and curiosity in the early parent/child relationship. This allows me to support new parents—both emotionally and practically— in navigating the trials of parenthood and also informs how I relate to my adult clients and understand their early experiences.
