I am currently not taking on couples work at this time. I am accepting pre-teen, teens and adults for individual counseling. I have been described by previous clients as compassionate, talented and goal oriented. I have been practicing in the counseling field for over 30 years. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and parents. My goal is to help my clients develop the skills needed to live happier and more balanced lives , My experience is in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. I use a combination of Internal Family Systems (I have completed level 1 training), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), mindfulness training and solution focused treatment for my work with clients. , I have learned a great deal over the years as a counselor. Most importantly, I have learned that the connection between a client and the therapist is paramount in being able to create a safe space where one can learn, grow and make change. Together we will create that space for you.
