About Us

As a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS), I work with children of all ages (0-18 years) & their families to provide various developmental supports from teaching emotional regulation & coping skills, to preparing for school or a medical/dental procedure, to coping with illness, loss, or traumatic medical experiences. Regardless of the specific challenge that leads a child or family to me, I strive to help them feel seen, known, & cared for. In collaboration with parents, we will create goals to help cope with the identified challenge (emotions, school, peers, trauma, divorce, grief/loss, upcoming event/procedure, diagnosis, etc.). , What I love most about working in private practice is the opportunity to combine skills from my clinical and community experiences to support a diverse range of needs among children & families. I am able to address short term challenges/fears with one-time sessions, & persisting challenges with recurring sessions, all while tailoring services to each child. , " Whether struggling with a life transition, adapting to school, learning to regulate emotions, or coping with a medical diagnosis/experience, children are best equipped to cope when we normalize their experiences, validate their feelings, and teach them through play and developmentally-appropriate interventions.
