I work with children, adolescents and young adults, who struggle with depression, anxiety, difficulties regulating emotions, self-harm, suicidal ideation and borderline personality disorder (BPD). I also have experience treating those with mild intellectual disability, Autism and behavioral disorders. Im certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Interventions from Boston University and I am trained in DBT, from Behavioral Tech, LLC ", I have an interest in the therapeutic impact of humor and Animal Assisted Therapy. I am trained in improvisational comedy and often incorporate humor into my sessions. My dog Kaia and I are a certified animal assisted therapy team. Kaia enjoys coming to sessions with those who request her presence. , My goal as a clinician, is to assist, support and educate individuals in reaching their therapy goals; resulting in an improved quality of life.
