Are you struggling to feel and do better and unable to sustain progress? My focus is to help you tap into your wisdom and enhance your strengths to build a more meaningful quality of life. This includes identifying obstacles to growth and learning healthier methods of managing painful emotions while replacing self- destructive behaviors. The therapeutic relationship is very important. My style is friendly, respectful, compassionate and collaborative. I am highly motivated to help you develop tools to diminish pain, build a satisfying life and behave in ways that are consistent with the person you would like to be. , I treat many issues including mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, adjustments, impulsive behaviors, & relationship issues. I have extensive training in helping clients to develop more effective ways of regulating emotions, tolerating distress, enhancing interpersonal effectiveness and being more present and free from self-defeating thinking. , Treatment is most effective in a safe, non-judgmental & validating environment. I use multiple approaches to help individuals, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based (MBCT) & Relationship Strategies. My office is located in walking distance from downtown Northampton with plenty of free parking.
