I have a specialized private practice serving couples in any stage of their relationship. My style is interactive and engaged, partnering with you to understand your strengths and resilience. We will work together to discover the changes you want to make, improve your communication and resolve the conflicts that will lead you to have the life and relationships you want. I have a specialization in couples therapy, especially, (but not limited to): working with affairs, changes in family structure or dynamics, improving communication, rediscovery of your love and even making a "good" divorce if that is what you have chosen. , My other specialty is in the treatment of victims of crime and trauma: Family members grieving the a loss of a loved one to homicide; survivors of interpersonal violence, sexual abuse/assault. In addition, I often work with those in the helping professions on minimizing the impact of their work-related trauma exposure and secondary traumatic stress. , I am a certified Discernment Counselor, working with couples "on the brink" of divorce. This is not therapy but a focused decision-making process consisting of 1-5 sessions concerned only on gaining clarity and confidence regarding this critical decision.
