Harm Reduction is a grassroots movement that started among people who were at risk for HIV and HepC (queer people, people who use drugs, sex workers). This approach impacts the work I do with all people. It is an approach to behavioral change that emphasizes meeting you where you are without judgement while moving you towards your goals. My work is also trauma informed, works with your mind and body, relational, and informed by social justice and systems of power, privilege, and oppression. , Groups I have expertise in working with include: people who use drugs (problematic and non-problematic), people who love people who use drugs, queer people (LGBTQ+), people living with HIV, non-monogamous people, and other helping professionals.
