People are often judged for having problems. if you use insurance to pay for sessions, therapists are required to give you a diagnosis, indicating what is wrong and what needs to be fixed. This is not the way I look at people. There is no one who is free from suffering, which is not even the problem. Instead our "struggles" stem from a lack of compassion towards ourselves. , My work tends to view trauma as a common denominator for our struggles. We have all been hurt. I strive to listen with an open heart, also recognizing that some people do not express themselves easily (I am not the "silent type" of therapist). , My work tends to be interactive. I am not here to tell you what is wrong. My goal is for us to work together on improving the quality of your life.
