I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, specializing in the treatment of eating disorders, body image, anxiety disorders & trauma. I am interested in working with individuals who have co-morbid diagnoses, & those who struggle with maladaptive coping mechanisms (self-harm, self-sabotage). I have worked in various mental health settings such as partial hospitalization programs, eating disorder facility and alternative school. Recieved a Bachelors Degree from Suffolk University, and Masters Degree from Simmons School of Social Work. ", I am trained in EMDR Levels 1 & 2 to treat trauma/PTSD. I also incorporate a number of therapeutic techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) & mindfulness skills, and I am a member of ASDAH which is a non-profit organization membership committed to the Health At Every SizeⓇ Principles! , My goal is to help you build awareness, reconnect to yourself, and create a life worth living. My passion is to help you heal your relationship with food and your body, as well as support you through difficult life events. Through our work together, you can develop effective coping skills and become empowered!
