About Us

My passion is helping adults, particularly those over age 50, who are having difficulty with depression and anxiety, marital and family concerns, retirement, grief and loss, as well as worry about their health and finances. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with over fifty years of experience assisting individuals and groups find their strength to live a healthier, more fulfilled quality of life. For much of that time, those efforts were with the MA Department of Mental Health. It has also been with Catholic Charities, the VA, and most recently as a Franklin based outpatient clinician. , The challenges that occur during life transitions often bring the greatest satisfactions, as well as difficulty, anxiety and loss. I create a safe place to explore both life’s pleasures and hurdles. Specialties include support with marriage and starting a family, separation and divorce, job loss and retirement, disability, aging, and grief and loss. , I believe that an empathic counseling relationship in which your worth is recognized and validated, where your strengths are emphasized, and resiliencies explored, can lead you to greater enjoyment of your life and better connections to those around you. I am currently offering in person appointments in Franklin, MA on Mondays and Tuesdays.
