About Us

I work at New England Center for OCD and anxiety (NECOA) where I see children, adolescents, and adults. I also lead a Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) group and soon a mindfulness group as well. My experience includes working with trauma, ADHD, anxiety, OCD, and depression. Having spent three decades in urban public schools with children and families and returning after the pandemic, I am acutely aware of how COVID has impacted the emotional wellbeing of so many. Please join me in practicing the strategies that will support you to regroup as you remember your inner strength. , I am trained in Exposure Response Therapy (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Neurobiology, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) Trauma based therapy, and Sensory-motor therapy. I am also a certified Mindfulness Mentor. , ACT and mindfulness remind us that living in the moment with what we value is so much more freeing than avoiding or holding onto our thoughts and feelings. To do that we have to reteach our brain that we are safe. We can do this by riding the wave of discomfort. Let’s ride that wave together and practice these skills. I look forward to growing with you.
