Some of my clients struggle to love well; others struggle with difficult emotions. But all of my clients juggle the sometimes contradictory demands of love, sex and vulnerability. All people want to feel safe and loved, but some are overwhelmed by the intensity of close connection. They want to feel known, but they are also allergic to intimacy. They want to feel attached, but they are also deeply distrustful of others. I also enjoy helping these clients in couples therapy to navigate the intersections of intimacy, vulnerability and sexuality.
