Over the last thirty years as a Clinical Psychologist, I have learned how children, adults, couples, and families break free of disheartening relational patterns and rewrite oppressive stories. I approach problems from a systems or “big picture” perspective - looking at the ways family, friends, community, and culture contribute to problems and can be resources to transform them. , My approach is collaborative. I am skilled at teaching many strategies - from Mindful Self-compassion to CBT and DBT to Gottman Method and Narrative Therapy to Eco-therapy.
