About Us

My name is Yamilet Guntin, I’m a registered license clinical social worker experienced with the mental health needs of adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and couples. As a therapist I have come to understand the power we hold to heal ourselves. With the right therapeutic guide, you can exercise control over your symptoms and reset your nervous system to heighten your functionality and interpersonal relationships. It is my goal to collaborate with you as my client so you can take the lead on the path to recovery, self-efficacy, emotional regulation, self-determination, and the achievement of your goals. , As a therapist I have gained an understanding of how anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief impact our daily lives in negative ways. My practice is based on two principles: Science and Compassion. I implement several theories in my practice from psychodynamic to polyvagal exercises to reset the nervous system to foster the possibility for change. , I’m a therapist/yogi who believes we can all live our best life and strive for a better version of ourselves. An immigrant who understands the impact and how traumatizing and scary that experience can be. An advocate for populations with historical and social challenges as the LGBTQ+ community, and minorities that have been impacted by systemic issues.
