In The Sanctuary Care & Counseling Center (TSCCC) we know that healthcare biases and disparities amongst marginalized communities are substantial, and we are dedicated to increasing education, awareness, and access to quality mental health support & other wellness services to Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC). TSCCC is a counseling practice that aims to facilitate wellness by looking at the whole person through the integration of spirituality and mental health. In The Sanctuary we believe that everyone deserves to be well. , In the Sanctuary adult BIPOC are provided a safe space to discuss the complexities of “adulting”, process their trauma, navigate grief, adjust to change and transitions, be vulnerable about their fears and insecurities, and express uncertainty and ambivalence about their faith and faith stories. , We aim to ensure that clients feel safe, supported, and are persistently encouraged to extend themselves grace and self-compassion as they commit to personal growth and development in an environment that is centered on them.
