Although I am very comfortable in almost any clinical situation, at this stage of my career I tend to spend most of my time with adults of all ages having a wide variety of issues. Most particularly I work with those struggling with addictions ( both classic and process), mood and personality disorders. anxiety, depression, marital and other relationship difficulties, also chronic emotional and behavioral problems, and issues attendant to stage of life transitions. , Being a psychotherapist is about helping people change dissatisfying aspects of their lives in productive ways. This is accomplished via the interaction of several key processes: 1) patient education; 2) emotional support of more adaptive behavior; and 3) positive life shifts occurring through the healing power of the therapeutic relationship. , I practice in comfortable settings conducive to the type of privacy so critical to a positive therapeutic experience. My professional life is completely devoted to facilitating worthwhile life changes for individuals, couples and families.
