About Us

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist with a master’s degree in Social Work, a postgraduate certificate in Play Therapy and Equine Assisted Mental Health. For the past 20 years, I have worked with children as a counselor, case manager, elementary school teacher, and now a play therapist. Child-centered and Synergetic Play Therapy, Instinctual Trauma Response method and Child-Parent Relationship Therapy are my biggest influences. I believe that when children are given a chance to lead, explore, and demonstrate their own resiliency—they are given the opportunity to grow, heal, and change from within. I also work with parents utilizing a ten week program called Child-Parent Relationship Therapy and add additional parent support for parental regulation, windows of tolerance, and understanding their nervous system responses in parenting. , You are NOT alone in these experiences and feelings.
