Working together and along side individuals is essential for a therapeutic relationship. , The initial part of the counseling process is recognizing the reason for seeking out help. That being said, the focus of my practice includes: Person Centered Therapy, using a strengths-based perspective, MBCT (Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy), Gestalt Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Based Therapy, Adult counseling, and Telehealth. , It’s extremely important that I meet individuals where they are in the moment. Equally important for this therapist is creating a comfortable and safe environment for my clients. It’s not always easy talking about one’s struggles with someone new.
