As Miamis first DBT certified therapist, I work with individuals who have difficulty managing their emotions, relationships and behaviors. I also teach mindfulness and behavior change strategies to promote psychological flexibility and therefore overall well-being. Our practice offers a fully adherent DBT program for adolescents, parents and adults wanting to improve interpersonal skills as well as distress tolerance skills and emotion regulation skills. View 7 Photos", My specialty is working with adolescents, adults and parents with difficulties in emotional dysregulation (i.e. self-harm, suicidal ideation, eating disorders, substance abuse) and helping the family system move out of chaos.
