About Us

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and an Accelerated Resolution Therapist. I am also EDIT™ Certified I Eating Disorder Treatment Clinician working with teens and adults. In the beginning of my counseling career, I served individuals in the substance abuse population where I worked with women, men, adolescents, and young adults suffering from drug addiction. Fast forward to today, I continue the practice of my past experiences and I specialize in working with individuals who have trauma (PTSD, C-PTSD), anxiety, SUD, depression, life transitions, LGBTQ+, (especially trans individuals), sex issues, and couples/marital issues. View 18 Photos, My main therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT focuses on challenging and changing unhelpful thought processes and negative behaviors, improving regulating emotions, and the development of personal coping skills that targets around the current issue(s). Many other techniques are utilized to meet different need in therapy sessions. , I look at each client as an individual (no client is the same). No matter what you may come into therapy for and no matter similarities between past and current clients, I meet you where you are at. Every session starts at various different places. With that being said, your therapy session will be individualized to your wants and needs.
