I am a licensed psychologist with a wide range of experience. I work with individuals, couples and families facing difficult life stressors including chronic illness, divorce, domestic abuse, and loss. I treat individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, sexuality issues, parenting difficulties, and overall unhappiness. My therapeutic approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of the individual. It is conducted in a safe and supportive setting that promotes exploration, acceptance, and change. I integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies with insight oriented/interpersonal that foster self-awareness, and coping skills to overcome the challenges that stand in the way of healing and well-being. , I utilize an eclectic approach to psychotherapy which may incorporate cognitive behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and dialectical behavioral interventions. I also have expertise and am specialized in issues related to behavioral weight management, marital and family conflict, autism and developmental disabilities and substance disorders. , I believe that a good fit between the client and the therapist is essential for trust to develop and work to begin.
