Hi There, I am Karen Romero, Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Qualified Supervisor in Florida. With over 7 years of experience, I primarily work with young adults, often referred to as “emerging adults,” who are looking for a non-judgmental space where they can feel validated. This stage of life is filled with identity exploration & self-discovery, with the pressures of new roles and responsibilities—like financial independence, forming romantic relationships, and even becoming parents—it is common to experience self-doubt. Therapy can help to make sense of these changes and as a valuable tool in navigating transitions. , I take a collaborative approach to therapy, prioritizing empathy and genuine connection. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, but customize my methods to suit your unique needs, ensuring each session is meaningful and effective.
