" Hi! Im Julia and Im a licensed therapist in the state of Florida. I really enjoy working with kids 9 and up, teens, and adults who suffer from feeling disconnected from themselves due to anxiety, depression, grief, relationship issues, addiction, or poor self esteem. I also enjoy working with those in the LGBTQ+ community or those who experience self harm or suicidal thoughts. Through my calm, warm and compassionate demeanor, I help guide clients to return home to themselves and find a place of calm despite the noise in their heads or bodies. ", I am certified in dialectical-behavioral therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy. I also have training in motivational interviewing for addiction or habit changes. Internal family systems is one of the primary modalities I use in order to help clients take a step back from their internal experiences and learn how to harmonize them. , Therapy can be intimidating - I got through difficult times in my personal life with the help of counselors, so I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of therapy.
