I specialize in working with individuals, couples, and families who are in distress or desire personal growth. I believe that a supportive, compassionate therapeutic relationship is the basis for change. My approach to treatment is flexible and individualized integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a variety of insight oriented and problem solving approaches that help my clients achieve positive change leading to happier lives and fulfilling relationships. , My areas of expertise include working with couples, families, adults and adolescents. I specialize in the treatment of family and relationship issues, parenting, eating disorders, stress management, and substance abuse as well as anxiety, depression, anger, trauma, grief and self-esteem issues. Therapy is available in both English and Spanish. , I offer a specialized experience for intact, divorced (or divorcing) families that uses a Coordinated Family Therapy approach wherein the system is re-balanced and relationships are repaired so that both parents and children learn to work together as a family unit.
