As a result of negative life events, unhealthy relationships, pain, loss, illness, or modern-day stressors, many of us are unable to fully process our emotions, which become stored in our bodies and unconsciously drive our repeated behaviors and thought patterns. We become disconnected not only from those around us but most importantly, from ourselves.
