Charis Counseling Center has been providing expert counseling in the central Florida area since its inception in 2000. Charis offers the services of trained professionals who provide comfort and hope as they guide you toward overcoming obstacles and experiencing the authentic, abundant life. At Charis we believe that a good therapist connection is essential as well as a safe, empathetic and comfortable environment to let your guard down and begin to do your work. We know that vulnerability and connection are not just the buzz words of the day but are truly essential to moving towards healing for so many issues so we work with our clients to find a great fit where they work with a therapist with the training and personality they need to feel seen, emotionally supported, and experience true change. We provide individual, couples and family counseling that can address a variety of issues. Our office is staffed Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30 please feel free to call and inquire about our therapists or our free 15 minute phone consultations. , We know that many times group counseling can augment the work we do in individual counseling. Processing with both a trained therapist and others in similar situations can empower and move you more quickly towards change. We are also "Therapist Friendly" meaning if you\re seeing a therapist outside of our clinic but would still like to come to one of our groups, you are welcome here! You are also welcome to attend a group even if you are not in individual therapy at this time.
