I invested more than twenty years serving an educator and as a principal of therapeutic schools. These experiences provide me with the unique ability to work with parents, children/adolescents, couples, and families. I am proficient in conflict resolution techniques and in transforming their perception of self to cope with anger, depression, anxiety, self-esteem and trauma. My experience prepares me to work with children/adolescents who feel challenged in their school environment and tumultuous developmental stage. My empathetic, non-judgmental approach creates a safe and trusting therapeutic environment for transformation of personal and familial desires. , " I incorporate cognitive, brain-based, attachment, client-centered, and Erikson therapies. I capitalize on my clients strengths to tackle their greatest vulnerabilities. Some techniques include role play, inclusion of the arts, and caring confrontation. I enhance parenting skills and use conflict to remedy marriage/family dysfunction, stress, and communication challenges. ", I hold graduate degrees from the University of South Florida in Social Work and Special Education with specialty in behavior disorders and a State of Florida Certificate in Educational Leadership. I have experience in speaking engagements, group therapy, and court ordered evaluations. I am a member of NASW.
