I have a deep passion for helping others navigate this journey due to my own battle with mental health issues in the past. I work with ages 12 and up for those coping with complex trauma, eating disorders, codependency/relationship challenges, self-harm, obsessions/compulsions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, and substance misuse. I also offer family therapy and groups. , I believe that every behavior is done to serve a need that the individual does not know how to fulfill in a more “healthy”, functional way. Those of us with trauma may have never learned how to get our needs met or even recognize what our needs are. Because of this, we form maladaptive patterns, disconnecting from ourselves and our trust in others. , I am a firm believer that everyone deserves help. I encourage my clients to push themselves to recognize how they are carrying their past with them so that they can challenge those patterns and work towards the future they deserve.
