Our modern culture sets an accelerated external rhythm, As a therapist, I have observed that this rhythm has contributed to higher levels of stress, which has fueled increasing levels of depression, anxiety and loss of connection in relationship. Symptoms may include shortness of breath, racing thoughts, panic, burnout, loneliness and isolation. Using a framework of CBT, I partner with individuals to help them challenge negative messages of worry and self-doubt. In working with couples my goal is to help create emotional intimacy and maturity in relationship. I collaborate with clients in developing growth and optimal functioning. , My specialties include anxiety disorders and couples counseling. I have been trained in Cognitive Behavior (CBT), Attachment and Gottman for couples. Research has shown CBT to be highly effective with symptoms of anxiety and depression. With couples I focus on emotional intimacy and communication as couples face role changes and disconnections. , I am a warm and dynamic therapist who creates an atmosphere of grounding, tranquility and deep connection. I have been challenged by many of the same issues I see in the clients I work with. In partnering with clients, I establish safety and respect as I collaborate with you to infuse hope, healing and courage into diverse situations.
