In my years of practice and clinical experience I have been privileged to be actively engaged in a powerful and life enhancing experience that reduces suffering, promotes healing and opens a doorway to hope, compassion and growth. I believe that therapy offers a unique space to resolve life challenges and difficulties in a collaborative, respectful, empathic and effective way. It also offers an opportunity to become the best person we can be. I am a licensed psychologist in DC and MD. I have been in practice for 30 years and provide individual, couples and group therapy as well as supervision. consultation and clinical training. , I am the current director of professional development for the DC Psychological Association. My practice is centered on the well being of my clients and incorporates well known clinically effective modalities.I have found that the integration of contemporary psychodynamic approaches Neuroscience and Mind/Body principles greatly enhances treatment and growth. , I have also been engaged in activities and programs designed to promote Diversity, Social justice and cultural sensitivity. It is my sense that an integrative and innovative approach that is active and engaged, compassionate and empathic and open and accepting can create a healing reality that is restorative, empowering and life affirming.
