Therapy can empower us to live more fully and authentically. When we have our experiences heard and validated by another, it can enhance our understanding and acceptance of ourselves. I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to effective therapy. Using a genuine and open stance, I aim to foster an environment where you will feel comfortable sharing whatever comes to mind. Working from a psychodynamic framework, I believe it is important to understand how our early life experiences impact our current emotions, thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. , People seek out therapy to obtain support when feeling overwhelmed or unfulfilled. Together, we can explore ways of managing that might have been effective in the past but are no longer serving you. Through this process, we can harness your strengths and explore alternative ways of thinking, which will allow for other possibilities of being and relating. , I have gained experience and training working with individuals presenting with an array of concerns. Specifically, I have extensive experience with individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss.
