Everyone has the potential to change, grow and heal. I believe that psychotherapy can be a powerful tool toward those ends. Effective therapy requires an accepting and authentic therapist-client relationship, and I strive to create an environment filled with warmth, trust and understanding. \n\nI will encourage you to deepen your understanding of your experiences and emotional life. As most people enter therapy during a time of heightened discomfort, I also strive to quickly identify areas of concern, develop an approach that feels comfortable, and help you find greater fulfillment in your life. , As a generalist, I have experience working with a number of clinical issues and diagnoses, most frequently with relationship problems, mood and anxiety disorders, perinatal/postpartum issues and disorders, disordered eating, adjustment difficulties and trauma. I have experience working with adults, college, graduate and law students, adolescents, couples and families. , In addition to individual therapy, I also work with couples in various stages of their relationship with a number of different issues, ranging from pre-marriage concerns to post-divorce counseling. I also co-lead several process groups and provide clinical supervision to other therapists.
