" Have you hit a wall with talk therapy? Are you struggling to find hope for your mental health? My name is Mikayla, and Ive lived in and around DC for over 22 years. I provide holistic, integrative therapy - with and without ketamine - for people struggling with PTSD, suicidality, depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions. All are welcome here! I have experience working with people who struggle to fit in; people who use drugs; and people working through relationship problems, including those in open or non-monogamous relationships. I help clients re-integrate their mind-body systems by weaving many perspectives - embodied mindfulness, liberation psychology, somatics, trauma-informed care, polyvagal theory, CBT, sound, voice, and education. , I love working with people who feel frustrated with conventional approaches and are ready to try something new. Above all, I believe you have the capacity to heal yourself. My role is to support a safe process, maintain an optimal environment, ask the right questions, and to provide guidance when asked.
