About Us

I work with children, adolescents, couples and families. I have extensive experience in trauma recovery, stepfamily issues, dissociative identity disorder and parent empowerment. I also work with local attorneys and the courts in high conflict custody cases, I facilitate coparenting after divorce and I perform family reunification. With special training in EMDR, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy, I bring a range of talents and expertise to all that I do. I also enjoy my work as an adjunct professor of psychology at Norwalk Community College. , I\m a clinical fellow in the AAMFT. My wife, Karen, also a Family Therapist, often works with me in what we call Gender Balanced Couples Therapy. “It\s so very powerful and valuable.
