About Us

Welcome to my counseling practice; I know that it can take a lot of strength to make that initial call, and I especially enjoy working with those who are new to therapy. I am a licensed professional counselor with more than twenty years of experience working collaboratively with clients to provide mental health treatment for a number of concerns, including depression, anxiety, addiction, grief and loss, anger, life transitions, and health and aging issues. Using an integrative mix of evidenced-based therapies, I offer in-person sessions at my office in downtown New Haven, and telehealth (online) services to clients statewide. , I have advanced training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which uses acceptance and mindfulness strategies, along with commitment and behavior change processes, to increase psychological flexibility. Learning ACT principles and core Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills will help you to continue to build a meaningful, values-directed life. , As a former lawyer, I am honored to continue to serve the legal community through LCL-Connecticut, providing counseling help and substance treatment to numerous Connecticut attorneys and law students. I also have experience offering similar assistance to physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals in need of treatment through the HAVEN program.
