About Us

I believe everyone has a story to tell about their journey in life and what that experience has been like for them, but oftentimes, those stories go unheard or invalidated by others. This tends to open the door to developing negative distortions about ourselves; about who we are and our ability to succeed. Overtime, these distortions begin to overlap in other areas of our lives that not only affect our mood, motivation, self-esteem, and beliefs, but importantly, our relationships – our connection with family, friends and loved ones. Therapy provides the opportunity for you to share your story and begin the process of self-discovery. , My clinical experience includes addressing and treating family conflict marital issues, divorce, parenting, ethic/cultural issues, self-esteem, self-harm, anxiety, depression, trauma, problem sexual behaviors, grief. I am trained in evidence-based models such as, CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, A.R.T and also a certified Advanced Gestalt therapist. , I use systemic and strengths-based approaches to bring families closer together to achieve fulfilling relationships. I view therapy as a collaborative process as I guide my clients through increasing self-awareness, gaining new perspectives, decreasing symptoms and increasing personal strengths to improve communication and build stronger relationships.
