About Us

My clinical focus is identifying and intervening on patterns of behavior and thought that prevent individuals from being more satisfied or better adjusted to where they are in their life. We all go through stress, transitions, and hardships. Adversity is a guarantee. What matters is how we deal with the challenges we encounter. Besides having a strong background doing individual work, I also work well with couples in conflict. There is something satisfying about helping a couple work through issues that have been eroding away the happiness and satisfaction that brought them together in the first place. , As a family therapist, sometimes people think I only do couples and family therapy but my practice is a way of conceptualizing the individual; a way of looking at people in the context of the pieces of their lives: family, friends, job, health, recreation, spirituality, transitions, substance use, age, gender... , 10+ years in practice; work well with males that are new to therapy; have a knack for helping couples in conflict decide on a resolution; provide counseling to older adolescent/young adult males via individual therapy.
