I work help relationships get off to a good start or back on track and to unravel the enduring effects of the past on experiences in the present. Conversation and reflection are at the center of the work. I also have EMDR training which I use to help integrate trauma, past and present, when these appear to stand in the way of emotional health. , I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 30 years of experience working with children and families. I have specialized clinical training in parent-child psychotherapy and child play therapy and I teach and write on child development and mental health, attachment, and the effects of trauma across generations.
