About Us

My goal is to help you to feel heard and understood as perhaps never before. Through careful listening and questioning, I will help you to formulate your thoughts and identify all of your feelings, so together we can come to understand your internal emotional life. Finding ways to manage your anxiety and emotional reactions, we will increase your capacity to tolerate stress and help your thinking become more flexible. As you experience more options in your responses within yourself and to others, you will feel an increased sense of confidence, moving you into a life in which you feel more fully engaged and authentically present. , I have extensive training and experience with adolescents, young adults, adults and couples. My specialties include relationship issues, divorce, parent-child issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and infertility. I have been on the clinical faculty of the Yale University Child Center and consulted to DFS and other organizations. , My psychoanalytic and Somatic Experiencing training enable me to both understand and to work in a deeper way to help you recognize patterns and allow you to release engrained problems you may have felt throughout your life. Mind/body focus provides more directed techniques that can be used in developing more effective ways of managing stress and anxiety.
