I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a PhD in Mental Health Counseling and specialize in treating eating disorders, anxiety and depression. I am licensed in CT & NY and help clients replace their maladaptive behaviors and beliefs with skills and understanding of how to radically accept life’s imperfections and make meaning in your unique individuality. , I have years of experience providing intensive therapy for the treatment of eating disorders, body image dissatisfaction, anxiety, and depression. I aim to teach you or your child cognitive-behavioral principles and strategies to effectively manage distressing emotions, thoughts and behaviors. I am also a Health at Every Size (HAES) informed clinician. , My treatment style is individualized and collaborative, while providing a warm, inviting space with the opportunity to self-reflect. I find that both challenge and encouragement helps individuals make optimal changes. I aim to teach skills that will help you better manage emotions, thoughts, and deep rooted beliefs about yourself and the world.
