As a Clinical Social Worker and founder of Apparent Health & Wellness, LLC, I offer a holistic approach (Mind, Body and Spirit) towards each womans unique journey into motherhood. With over 15 years of experience working with new mothers and families, I utilize a multi-modal, clinical approach to for treating PMADs, along with safe prenatal/postpartum exercise and mindfulness-based meditation. ", As a mother, I now realize my own PMAD journey after delivering my first child. I can recall feeling isolated, unnoticed and afraid as I reluctantly put on my "Maternal Hat". Research shows that many women experience various types of PMADs, however the social stigma often undermines the benefits of maternal well-being.
