I combine Dance Movement Therapy (DMT) & Aquatic Therapy (AT), Geek therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) & Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to assist clients in moving toward balance. DMT is psychotherapeutic use of movement to promote emotional, social, cognitive, & physical integration of the person. AT is use of water & specifically designed activity to aid in restoration, extension, maintenance & quality of function for persons with acute, transient, or chronic disabilities, syndromes, or diseases. Geek Therapy combines fandom & concepts clients relate to with CBT, DBT and other approaches to address client needs. , My focus is about helping clients find the skills and tools to move forward and not about fitting the client into my mold. Some of the things I help clients balance include chronic pain, anxiety, behavioral concerns and mental illnesses such as Bipolar Disorder, PTSD and Schizophrenia.
