I believe in the mind- body connection and how that connects to our mental health. graduated with a Masters in Community Counseling in 2006 from the University of Northern Colorado and have worked in the field since that time. As a therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe, nonjudgmental space to support clients in growth and change. Focusing on the client- therapist relationship initially is important to build trust and rapport. , My focus initially was substance abuse and through the years transitioned into a focus of trauma and pursued continued education in EMDR. I currently work with the needs of trauma, depression, anxiety, and addiction. I utilize a client centered approach and will incorporate DBT, CBT and EMDR as it fits the needs of the individual. , My hobbies include running, hiking, reading, yoga and escaping to the outdoors whenever possible.
