The relationship with your therapist is one of the most important catalysts for change. My approach to psychotherapy emphasizes this powerful tool and together, we can work to uncover what leads your relationships to continually disappoint, your career to disatisfy you, for happiness, love, or ease to seem out of reach. I work collaboratively with individuals to identify treatment goals, the focus and pace of our work and to incorporate the unique culture and background each person brings. , Factors that hold you back from discovering honesty with yourself and others and genuine connection repeat in patterns and relationships. Psychodynamically informed psychotherapy can help uncover and alter these patterns. I provide psychotherapy to individuals as well as consultation and supervision to unlicensed and licensed therapists and businesses. , I supervise graduate students learning to become therapists. I hold membership in state and national associations and have been published in professional journals. I have served as an executive leader of a mental health center. Through these endeavors, I continually enrich my understanding of effective practice and consultation.
