Hello! I moved to Colorado 9 years ago from the upper Midwest. I am proud to say I have an eclectic experience when it comes to counseling. I started off as a residential treatment specialist then moved on to other settings including universities, military bases, prisons, parole, schools, and group practices. From there I have put a focus on working with clients and couples who suffer from depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and concerns related to intimacy and sex. , I use a variety of therapies for my approach. My foundation is set on a realistic viewpoint (setting obtainable goals, understanding consequences). From there I like to look at the actual issue and pinpoint the causes so a solution can be produced. I am trained in DBT, CBT, Gottman, Imago, and ACT. I am also trained in Hypnotherapy. , Overall, I am a human, just like you, who has made mistakes and learned from them. I want to help you; not judge you or tell you what you NEED to do, but instead give you the appropriate tools to guide you into what we can collaboratively agree would be the right direction.
