About Us

Let me help you with depression and anxiety and relationship difficulties. I work to help people move forward when they feel stuck in unhealthy patterns of feelings and behaviors. My belief is that we all have within us the capacity to flourish if the obstacles to doing that are identified and removed. I like to work with people who are committed to their healing and prepared to risk changing in order to thrive. I have experience helping clients heal from childhood trauma, from grief and loss of all kinds, from constant worry, and from persistent negative ideas about themselves. My approach is collaborative and interactive. , My specialty is working with adults who feel unable to live their lives joyfully and freely. I help them to find out what is blocking them and work with them to discover ways to become stronger, more in touch with their emotions, and more compassionate towards themselves and others. , I believe everyone has the capacity to heal from emotional wounds and I approach therapy in that spirit. I am trained in EMDR, an evidence-based technique to resolve traumatic memories. I offer a free initial consultation and support between sessions by phone for established clients in non-emergency situations.
